Whenever I try to speak to people about personal finance I get strange looks. This led to the name of this blog.
There are number of reasons money became taboo. Some people are worried about not making as much as others, others tie their self worth to their net worth. People are afraid of being judged on their lifestyle decisions and because of that they simply are not willing to talk about their finances. I would like to create a community of like-minded people who are enjoying the thought of financial independence and are taking steps to get there.
